Copper · Light · Nature

Discover the beauty of working with copper as you transform wire and metal into a unique piece of art inspired by nature.

In this hands-on experience, participants learn to shape and manipulate copper wire, exploring simple techniques for bending, wrapping and forming the metal. They then add color, movement and personality with a curated collection of glass beads and decorative elements.

Participants can choose between two projects:

COPPER SUNCATCHER

Create a delicate piece of hanging art designed to catch the light.

Copper wire becomes the framework for an organic design, accented with colorful glass beads and decorative elements. As sunlight passes through the glass, the piece comes alive with color and movement.

COPPER BOTANICAL

Bring a little artistry to the garden with a handcrafted copper plant stick.

Participants shape copper wire into an expressive botanical form, then embellish it with glass beads and other accents. The finished piece can be displayed among plants, flowers or greenery, where it catches the light and adds a touch of handmade beauty.

Each participant's creation is unique, shaped by their own choice of form, texture, color and embellishment.

COPPER & PATINA

A Little Copper, A Little Color, A Lot of Creativity

No previous experience with wirework is necessary. Participants are guided through the techniques step by step, with plenty of room to experiment and make the piece their own.

The experience is as much about the process as the finished object—working with your hands, discovering what the material can do, and enjoying the creative energy that comes from making something alongside others.
